Terms of Use

Last updated 2026-07-08 · vault.audio

These Terms govern your use of vault.audio (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What vault.audio is

vault.audio is a personal tool that helps you manage and organize your own music library from streaming services you already subscribe to — currently Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify, and Apple Music. You connect your own account credentials for the services you use, and vault.audio acts on your behalf, using your existing subscription, to organize files for your personal library.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for having an active, legitimate subscription with each service you connect, and for having the legal right — under that service's own terms and the law that applies to you — to access the content you request. vault.audio does not host, store, sell, or redistribute any catalog content (music files, artwork, or metadata) on behalf of anyone other than the account holder who requested it. Anything obtained through the Service lands only in your own personal storage, for your own personal use. Use of the Service to violate a third-party service's terms, to infringe copyright, or to redistribute content to others is entirely at your own risk and against these Terms.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that any particular streaming service's API will keep working. Features may change, break, or be removed at any time, and the Service as a whole may be modified or taken offline without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, vault.audio and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, loss of access to a third-party account, or action taken against you by a third-party service provider.

Who this is for

vault.audio is currently intended for a small, private circle of invited users located outside the European Union. Access is by invitation only. Our servers are located in Germany, and by using the Service you consent to your data being processed there — see our Privacy Policy for details on what is stored and how.

Account termination

We may suspend or terminate an account at our discretion, including for suspected abuse, violation of these Terms, or misuse of a connected third-party service. You may delete your own account and all associated data at any time from Settings.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Abuse and takedown requests

If you believe the Service is being misused, or you are a rights holder with a takedown or abuse concern, contact us at abuse@vault.audio.
